Bike Fitting

A bike fit can confirm the correct bike size, recommend the best possible saddle, set up your shoe cleats accurately or provide guidance on the best possible saddle height, setback or saddle to handlebar drop for your riding style. Bike fits can also include analysis of your cycling position in motion and your pedalling stroke to establish how you can optimise your position for an increased power output or a greater level of comfort on the bike. All bike styles and disciplines are covered, from Road, Gravel, Mountain bike and all those in between.

Depending on the type of bike fit you get, it can take between 30 minutes, and a few hours, and provide you with a simple personalised advice, recommended changes to improve your comfort and increase power.

Quick Fit

Many cyclists ride bikes that are not the right size for them. Combined with the wrong saddle height, this can create saddle sores, back pain or other injuries while also causing poor peddling efficiency. A Quick Fit will provide a saddle height and frame size advice for the bike of your choice, current or future.

Shoe/Cleat Adjustment

A good cycling position starts with the correct positioning of the feet on the pedals and it is therefore extremely important. Getting your cleats fitted correctly will provide you with less friction, more comfort and an improved power transfer.

Five Reasons You Need A Bike Fit

To optimise your cycling experience

We believe that achieving optimal performance and comfort and an increased self confidence whilst riding a bike, is what every cyclist should aim for.

To increase your comfort

The main goal of a bike fit is to increase your comfort on the bike. A well fitted bike is crucial if you want to ride it better, longer or even faster. Providing that your position on the bike is aligned with your flexibility and your physical characteristics and your bike has been well adjusted of course.

To improve your performance

A bike fit helps you to apply your power to the pedals more efficiently and improve your pedalling stroke. During a bike fit, you learn more about your body, for example if you have any physical imbalances or if your body is perfectly symmetrical. It will also tell you which body parts are flexible and which ones less so.

To gain more self confidence

If you know exactly which size bike you need and what size handlebar and saddle, you will feel more self-assured if you buy a new bike or bike part. This will increase your self confidence when pedalling, turning, braking, accelerating and starting a sprint.

To increase the enjoyment in your life

In general, a bike fit will increase your enjoyment both on and off the bike. Less pain or discomfort means more fun whilst riding your bike and less chance of injuries. With the right fit, you will improve your experience on a bike.
